INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL "PERSPECTIVES"
The central theme of this 10 series of a scientific journal is the contemporary issues of the day, particularly those existential challenges related to crises of identity that young people in society face. Many of the student authors are from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Veliko Tarnovo have not only encountered but also overcome various temptations, such as alcohol, drugs, and the allure of money. These experiences have shaped their worldviews, which are candidly shared within the magazine's pages. Readers are encouraged to engage with these perspectives maturely, looking beyond the youth of the authors and refraining from hasty judgment.
The compilation reflects the dual nature of our thoughts and feelings as both positive and negative, yet never malevolent. The students' essays offer a window into how they perceive and interpret the world around them—crucial as these students are not only the children growing up in the early 21st century but will also be the influential figures shaping the next fifty years. They are the descendants of a generation that experienced a different socio-economic system and will be the progenitors of the next, likely holding different views from both their predecessors and successors.
Despite living in the same country, under the same governance, and sharing many commonalities, these students hold diverse opinions on various subjects. What unites them in this collection is a shared commitment to positive change. This aim is the thread that weaves through the differing perspectives, fostering understanding and bridging the gap between generations. This volumes are not merely a set of essays; it is an invitation to witness and participate in the dynamic evolution of views that these young thinkers bring to the table, as they will be the ones to carry forward the legacy into the future.
