Introduction
In alignment with the European Union's strategic focus on digital, ecological, and social transformation, we are delighted to announce an open call for partners for an upcoming Erasmus+ Key Action 1 Youth Exchange project titled "Youth Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Transformation".
This initiative seeks to foster and multiply an innovative methodology that integrates online resources with practical, hands-on approaches to informal learning. Aimed at activating the potential of NEETs (young people not in employment, education, or training) in the sectors of digitalization, ecology, and social care, the project aligns with the EU's ambition for a competitive low-carbon economy and addresses the challenge of future employment transformations due to digital and ecological shifts.
Project Overview
- Objective: To develop and disseminate a methodology for "Youth Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Transformation", focusing on creating accessible tools that guide NEETs from the ideation phase of entrepreneurial initiatives to their development and implementation.
- Expected Outcomes:
- Creation of at least 6 models of youth entrepreneurship that facilitate the transition to employment in digitalization, ecology, and social care sectors.
- Establishment of a network for interaction with IT sector companies, governmental, regional, and local institutions related to environmental conservation and public health.
- Addressing The Future of Work, by empowering NEETs, low-educated, migrants, and ethnic minorities, reducing youth unemployment, and preventing radicalization through cultural and religious inclusion.

Applications will be evaluated based on organizational experience, alignment with project goals, commitment to sustainability, and capacity to engage with NEETs and contribute to the project's expected outcomes.
Payments
Covers transportation costs will be covered by Erasmus+ rules to the participants within two weeks after the exchange concludes, but no later than July 4, 2024.
The project fully funds food and accommodation for the duration of the exchange, ensuring that participants can focus on their learning and development without financial burdens.
Each partner organization will be granted a budget of €300 for organizational support. This fund is designed to assist in preparing the group of participants and facilitating all necessary arrangements for a successful exchange experience.
It is imperative to note that partner organizations are strictly prohibited from requesting any participation fee from the participants.
This policy is in place to ensure equal opportunity for all individuals interested in joining this transformative journey.
Furthermore, to formalize the collaboration and outline the responsibilities and tasks of each party, a partnership agreement will be signed with every partner organization involved in the project. This agreement will detail the support provided by the Erasmus+ program, including the financial aspects of transportation, food, and accommodation, alongside the organizational support budget provided to each partner.
Our aim through these measures is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants, enabling them to fully engage with the project's activities and objectives without financial constraints. We look forward to a fruitful partnership and a successful execution of this project, contributing to the empowerment of young individuals across the Danube region.
